How to Paste Text Without Formatting
Do you often encounter such problem? The problem is that the source text has all sorts of different formatting, like from different web sites, different publications and different news articles, etc. You need to put it all in a summary digest and do not want all the formatting and links that are included when you copy text.
Sample One
If you want to paste text in a table, you would rather paste the text than the formatting.
Step 1: In WPS Writer, go to Writer > Options, select Edit in the Options Dialog Box.
Step 2: In Cut and Paste Options, set the Default Paste Format as Unformatted text in the drop-down list.
Step 3: Select the table that you want to move or copy, and then press

Sample Two
You want copy a quotation from a web page or your previous document. On one hand, you hope that the text may show as the web page or your previous document. On the other hand, you hope that the text may show without formatting in your target text.
Step 1: Select the text that you want to move or copy, and then press
Step 2: Go to Home > Paste, select the corresponding option you want.
Step 3: Press
Instead of Step 2 and Step 3, you can also paste the quotation directly, and choose the options by clicking the paste icon beside your pasted text.
As a result, If you want to set an default for the pasted text, you can follow the steps as Sample One.
If you want to choose either of the options each time when you paste text, you can follow the steps as Sample Two.
