Open Multiple Documents in Separate Windows

Sometimes you may need to open multiple documents in separate windows. You can follow the steps below to achieve this in WPS Office:

WPS Office provides two window management modes: All-in-One Mode and Multi-Component Mode for you to choose from.

Take WPS Office Writer as an example.

• All-in-One Mode

Click the document to be displayed in a separate window, drag and hold down the left mouse button to pull out the tab window. 

• Multi-Component Mode

Option 1

Reopen WPS Writer on the desktop or in the Start Menu to open a new blank document which is displayed separately from another file.

Option 2

If you want to open a specified document in a separate window, reopen WPS Writer and drag the file to the newly-opened window.

Option 3

Click the document to be displayed in a separate window, drag and hold down the left mouse button to pull out the tab window.
