How to Save PPT File as Template Using WPS Presentation

In WPS Office, you can either create your own ppt template or download one from WPS websites and save it for later use. Save a PPT file as Presentation Template.

Step 1 Create a presentation using WPS Presentation.

Step 2 Go to Presentation > Save As > WPS Presentation Templates (*.dpt)

Step 3 In the dialog box that pops up, enter a name for the file and choose a location to save the template. Press Save and the template is successfully saved to your computer.

By default, WPS Presentation Template (*.dpt) type of files are stored in the program template folder.

Save PPT as Microsoft PowerPoint Template
In similar steps, you can also save a presentation as Microsoft PowerPoint template. When choose Save As, choose Microsoft PowerPoint type: Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP/2003 Presentation Template (*.pot)
