Window Cannot Close Normally
When closing a document, if the system displays a Window cannot close normally prompt or becomes unresponsive for an extended period, this is usually because the underlying runtime process has hung or local cache read/write has encountered an abnormal conflict.
Solution
Solution 1: Extract Error Logs and Contact Support for Investigation (Recommended)
This is the most effective method to help the technical team accurately locate the cause of the inability to close.
Please click Download WPS Log Extraction Tool and extract it to your local computer.
Double-click Run me when unable to close.bat in the folder to run it.
After a moment, a log folder named 「wps_kpromeclose 」will be automatically generated on your desktop.
Note: Please compress the extracted log folder and submit it along with your WPS version number to customer service.
Solution 2: Force End System Process
If you need to exit the program urgently, you can try to force close it through the system Task Manager.
Press the keyboard shortcut 「Ctrl + Shift + Esc 」to open the Task Manager.
Find WPS Office related processes in the process list, right-click, and select End Task.
Note: Force-ending processes may cause unsaved local modifications to be lost. Please confirm, as much as possible, that your important content has enabled cloud sync or has been backed up before execution.
