Q1: Can the underline be set to a different color?
- Solution: The underline color follows the text color. If you need a different color, change the text color first before applying the underline.
Q2: Is the underline visible when applied to empty text?
- Solution: Applying an underline to an empty cell will not show a visible line; the underline effect only appears after text is entered.
Q3: Can strikethrough and underline be applied simultaneously?
- Solution: Yes, they can be used together. Both formatting styles can be overlaid on the same text, marking content from different perspectives.
Notes
- The underline operation acts as a toggle; performing it again will cancel it
- Underlines remain visible in the Sheets after filtering and sorting
