FAQ
Q1: The text is set to center but appears left-aligned?
- Solution: Confirm that both horizontal and vertical alignment are set to center. For single-line text, vertical alignment can also affect the display position and needs to be adjusted simultaneously.
Q2: Why is the text not centered even though centering is set?
- Solution: Check if there is any paragraph indentation setting, as indentation can affect the alignment effect.
Q3: The default alignment for numbers and text is different. Can they be unified?
- Solution: Numbers default to right alignment and text defaults to left alignment. You can unify the format by forcing alignment. Select the entire area and click the desired alignment method.
Notes
- Number cells default to right alignment for easier numerical comparison; text defaults to left alignment
- Alignment of merged cells will simultaneously affect all merged areas
- Alignment settings do not affect the actual cell content, only the display position
