FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between a bar chart and a column chart?

  • Solution: A bar chart is horizontal, suitable for scenarios with long category names, displaying text more completely; a column chart is vertical, more suitable for displaying time series data.

Q2: How to sort a bar chart by numerical value?

  • Solution: In 「General」, set 「Sort By」 to 「By Vertical Axis」 and 「Sort Order」 to 「Descending」 to arrange from largest to smallest.

Q3: Does the bar chart support stacked display?

  • Solution: Yes, it does. In the 「Type」 option under 「Basic Configuration」, switch to stacked mode and set the grouping field to display the stacking proportions of different series in the same row.

Notes

  1. Bar charts are suitable for scenarios with up to 20 categories; too many categories will make the chart excessively long.
  2. When category names are long, prioritize using bar charts over column charts.
  3. Chart content will update automatically after the data source is modified.
