Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What operations does Collaboration History record?
- Solution: It records all editing operations, including adding content, deleting content, changing formatting, adding comments, and so on.
Q2: Can Collaboration History be deleted?
- Solution: Collaboration History is automatically saved by the system and does not support manual deletion of individual records.
Q3: Does Collaboration History support permanent storage?
- Solution: There is a limit on the number of collaboration history entries, and they cannot be kept permanently. It is recommended to manually save the desired version as a separate copy or rename historical versions to set a long-term retention policy.
Q4: Unable to locate content after clicking a collaboration record?
- Solution: This occurs because the content related to that record's operation has been deleted from the document, making it impossible to locate. You can view the version history and revert the document to the version corresponding to that operation.
Notes
- The Collaboration History feature is only effective in collaboration mode (online mode)
- The number of retained operation records is limited
- Visitor operation records only display the operation content, not account information
