FAQ

Question 1: What should I do if there is no preset template I need in the dropdown list?

  • Solution: Click "Insert" → "Dropdown List" → "Custom Dropdown List", in the "Insert Dropdown List" dialog box, click "+ Add Option" to manually add the required options, then click OK.

Question 2: How do I modify existing options after setting a dropdown list?

  • Solution: Select the corresponding cell, click "Insert" → "Dropdown List" → "Custom Dropdown List", modify the option content in the dialog box and check "Apply to other same dropdown lists" to synchronously update, or first "Clear Dropdown List" and then reset.

Question 3: How to set the same dropdown list for multiple cells at once?

  • Solution: First select all the cells where you want to set the dropdown list (non-contiguous selection is supported), then click "Insert" → "Dropdown List", choose a preset template or customize the dropdown list, and all selected cells will simultaneously apply the same dropdown list.

Question 4: How to make a dropdown list automatically pop up a prompt when an invalid option is entered?

  • Solution: In the "Insert Dropdown List" dialog box, click "More Settings" in the upper right corner → Set "When input does not meet the conditions" to "Show Information" → Fill in the title and content, and a prompt will pop up when the user enters an invalid value.

Notes

  • After applying a preset template, the existing content in the cell will not be modified; only the dropdown selection capability is added.
  • There is no upper limit to the number of options in a custom dropdown list. Drag the handle to adjust the order, and click the trash icon to delete an option.
  • Checking "Multi-select" allows multiple selections in the cell dropdown; leaving it unchecked means single-select mode.
  • Clearing the dropdown list only removes the dropdown functionality and does not clear the existing content in the cell.
