FAQ

Q1: What should I do if data becomes misaligned after inserting cells?

  • Solution: Immediately press Ctrl+Z (Mac: Cmd+Z) to undo the operation, and re-select the correct insertion method.

Q2: Why doesn't the options dialog pop up when inserting?

  • Solution: The options dialog only appears when you right-click to insert while a cell (rather than an entire row/column) is selected. If an entire row/column is selected, the right-click menu will only show options to add rows/columns.

Notes

  • When inserting entire rows/columns, selecting the row numbers/column letters is more efficient than selecting individual cells
  • Insert operations can affect formula references; verify that formulas are correct after insertion
