Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Does the filter I set in collaborative mode affect other collaborators?

  • Solution: Disable the option "Filter visible to everyone" in the filter box; this filter will not affect other collaborators

Q2: How to reapply all filter conditions?

  • Solution: "Home" tab → "Filter" button dropdown arrow → Reapply all filter conditions.

Q3: Why are filter dropdown arrows not displayed for some columns?

  • Solution: Check if the data area contains empty rows or columns, as empty rows/columns will truncate the filter range. Ensure the data area is continuous, or check "Home" tab → "Filter" button dropdown arrow → Include data after empty rows in filtering.

Notes

  • Filtering does not delete data; it only hides rows that do not meet the conditions
  • Before using advanced filtering, a criteria range must be set; multi-column combined condition filtering is supported
  • Filtering can also be enabled/disabled in the Data tab
